A Bethlehem funeral director was recently featured on a Times Square billboard as part of a national campaign recognizing the work of funeral professionals.
Justin Keiper, funeral director with Cantelmi Funeral Homes, appeared in Chptr’s “The First Call” campaign, which highlights the role funeral directors play in supporting families during times of loss. The campaign was displayed in Times Square, bringing national visibility to a profession that often works behind the scenes.
The initiative focuses on funeral directors as the “first call” families make after the death of a loved one, emphasizing their responsibility, compassion, and presence during life’s most difficult moments.
“For me, it wasn’t about seeing my photo in Times Square,” Keiper said. “It was about what the message represented. Even for a moment, an entire profession was seen in a way it rarely is.”…
