Empire Fiber Internet has started construction on a fiber optic network that will bring internet service to more than 35,000 homes and businesses across the Lehigh Valley, the company said last month in a news release.
The Prattsburgh, New York-based company is the second in recent weeks to announce plans to expand its network to the region.
