A popular New Jersey ice cream shop is coming to Bucks County, replacing a longtime tavern and restaurant that closed in December.
Humdoo Ice Cream, a favorite spot among locals in Flemington, will soon have a second location in Buckingham, taking the place of the old Candlewyck on Durham Road, said Humdoo’s owner Gabriella Truppi.
The original shop — a quaint log cabin situated in Flemington’s downtown area — first opened in June of 2021 when Truppi decided to create a storefront for her Scoops on Wheels food truck, which she had started two years earlier…
