Former daycare worker from Bucks County charged with assaulting girl, police say

A man has been charged with sexually assaulting a girl at a daycare center where he previously worked in Bucks County, Pennsylvania, police said.

Mark Charles Stump, 68, of Warminster Heights, has been charged with aggravated indecent assault of a person less than 13, corruption of minors, indecent assault of a person less than 13, and indecent exposure, according to the Upper Southampton Township Police Department. He was arraigned and released on $75,000 unsecured bail.

Police said the investigation began in March 2026 after a victim reported that she was sexually assaulted by Stump while she was a child between the ages of 11 and 13, which would have been between 2007 and 2010…
