Worker injured, airlifted after fall down a hole in Hunterdon County

EAST AMWELL TOWNSHIP, N.J. (Hunterdon County) — A worker was airlifted to a hospital Monday morning after falling into a hole and suffering moderate injuries in East Amwell, according to New Jersey State Police.

Troopers responded around 9:09 a.m. May 18 to a report of a fall victim on Back Brook Road, state police said.

A preliminary investigation found the worker fell into a hole and was injured during the incident. Authorities did not release the victim’s identity or additional details about the circumstances surrounding the fall…
