East Cobb restaurant Reunion Kitchen & Bar is shuttering at 1255 Johnson Ferry Rd, Suite 16, after just over two years in the space, according to a recent Instagram announcement from the Reunion team. However, the restaurant will not be closing permanently. Reunion will be closed for the summer as the team seeks to pivot to a new space.
Co-owner Ilene Kapper Oxman told What Now Atlanta that the team is planning to relocate to a space in Sandy Springs. Oxman cited rising rent costs in East Cobb as the reason for the move. Oxman and the team are currently scouting for a Sandy Springs location and are targeting an opening sometime in the fall.
“I love East Cobb,” Oxman said in a message to What Now Atlanta. “I’ve owned multiple businesses there and raised my kids there. But I just feel that Sandy Springs will be a better place for us.”…
