Canton (Ga.) Sequoyah linebacker Drew Williams (6-foot-1, 200) has committed to Kentucky. He had previously taken an official visit to Oregon and had been pursued by the likes of Florida, Georgia and Miami in recent months.
Williams attended Will Stein’s first Junior Day at Kentucky as a guest of defensive coordinator Jay Bateman. On that day, he received his offer from the Wildcats. He would return for a trip in the spring before arriving for his official visit this weekend.
“The thing that really stands out about Kentucky is the coaches and the people,” he previously told CatsPause.com. “It is like a good group of coaches. Guys want to win and are dedicated.
