MURPHY COUNTY — A large amount of contraband has been seized from a Georgia State Prison following an investigation, according to the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office (CCSO).
They say on June 1, 2026, investigators with the CCSO and Union County Sheriff’s Office executed a search warrant at the residence of Amanda King.
