ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) — Families with loved ones buried at a historic cemetery in Gwinnett County claim a new privacy fence built next to the property is disturbing graves.
The cemetery on Dogwood Road sits next to Lifepointe United Pentecostal Church. The pastor said in January he had the fence built because his parishioners didn’t like looking at the burial grounds.
“This is still an active cemetery. Families still come out here. They put flowers on the grave. They visit those that are their ancestors and to see it done this way is really sad and it’s an indictment on our generations,” Stewart Ewing with the Gwinnett County Historical Society said…
