(Cleveland)- Some local firefighters recently completed the first-ever NPQ Vehicle Extrication Technician class held in the State of Georgia! Cleveland Fire Department Chief Jason Bryant said his department was honored to host and instruct this groundbreaking course that attracted firefighters from the Cleveland Fire Department, White County Fire Services, and Forsyth County Fire Department
Chief Bryant commented that through hard work, teamwork, and dedication, these firefighters completed advanced training that will directly enhance their ability to safely and effectively rescue victims trapped in motor vehicle crashes.
“When we’re called to act, when we have a vehicle, or somebody’s entrapped or entangled, that gives us a lot more ability to be able to get them out, treat them effectively, and be much more efficient than we’ve been in the past,” said Bryant.
