Police in Smyrna, Georgia, are searching for a man accused of repeatedly punching and pistol-whipping a driver during a daytime road rage confrontation, while the 18-year-old woman who allegedly drove the attacker away now faces an obstruction charge after refusing to identify her passenger.
FOX 5 Atlanta reporter Denise Dillon said the violent encounter began as a traffic dispute near Cumberland Boulevard and Cobb Parkway in late June, when one vehicle reportedly cut off another and the drivers exchanged words before continuing along the road.
The situation might have ended there, but police said the driver of a black car soon realized that a silver vehicle involved in the dispute had followed him into his apartment complex, leading to another confrontation that left the man hospitalized and requiring surgery…
