Man accused of pushing county commissioner’s wife at town hall

A Cherokee County commissioner said a man yelling and pointing his finger pushed down his wife after a town hall, “aggressive behavior that caused physical injuries.”

Cherokee County District 4 Commissioner Corey Ragsdale issued a statement via social media about the confrontation. He said he was addressing misinformation about what happened.

Ragsdale said at an Aug. 26 town hall, he delivered a short presentation about property taxes and answered questions.
