Terry Smith, 29, of Marietta, is accused of battery on a pregnant woman on Sept. 9 at 3:24 p.m. at a residence at 1425 Wood Hollow Lane in Marietta, according to an arrest warrant from the Cobb County Police Department.
During a verbal altercation that turned physical, Smith dragged his girlfriend, the mother of his unborn child, from the bed, proceeded to kick her multiple times in the right side of her torso, pushed her into plants and the apartment door. He then put his hands around her neck leaving visible marks on both her neck and arms. During the altercation, Smith also grabbed her phone and threw it on the floor multiple times, destroying it. The phone was valued at $550, according to the warrant.
Smith is charged with battery – pregnant; and criminal damage – second degree. He was arrested on Sept. 9 at 4:24 p.m. and booked into the Cobb County Adult Detention Center, according to jail records…
