SMYRNA — Democratic gubernatorial candidate and former mayor of Atlanta Keisha Lance Bottoms promised to relieve taxes on groceries if elected governor.
Bottoms, who addressed the Cobb County Democratic Committee in Smyrna on Saturday morning, made the promise as part of a broader plan to tackle cost of living concerns, which Pew Research Center found among voters’ top concerns going into the 2026 midterm elections.
