The dismembered remains of a Georgia mother who was working as a DoorDash driver were identified on Thursday, Sept. 24.
Shanteria ‘Tia’ Mosely’s family first confirmed that some of her dismembered remains had been discovered in a plastic tub in Smyrna, Ga. to local outlet 11Alive. The remains were found at the Park Valley Apartments on South Cobb Drive when her family could not reach her on Wednesday, and tracked her phone to the location, before notifying police.
On Friday, Sept. 25, Smyrna Police issued a press release sharing that more of her remains were discovered in garbage bags in the trunk of a vehicle, and that the Cobb County Medical Examiner’s Office was called in to assist with assessing the remains.
