The Canton City Council has postponed a decision on whether to approve or deny a developer’s request to build over 200 homes in the Pearidge community.
On Thursday, the Canton City Council unanimously voted to postpone a vote on a request from Lee Lusk of Pearidge Land Investments, LLC to annex and rezone about 62.17 acres from single-family residential (R-40, Cherokee County) to planned development-mixed use (city) to build a mixed-use development on five parcels at 680 and 700 Pearidge Road in the Canton area on a combined 68.5 acres. The applicant is also requesting master plan approval for the proposed mixed-use development.
