Vacant Peachtree Corners property to be replaced with pitch and putt golf course

PEACHTREE CORNERS, Ga. (Atlanta News First) — A six-acre vacant property in Peachtree Corners will soon be transformed into a new recreational destination with a pitch-and-putt golf course.

The Peachtree Corners City Council unanimously approved a rezoning request for the course at 7067 Jimmy Carter Boulevard. The property is located behind the Crown Sports Bar.

Unlike a traditional 18-hole golf course, a pitch-and-putt course is smaller and focuses on shorter shots, including pitches, chips and putts. The format can be accessible to golfers of different skill levels and give beginners an opportunity to learn the game without the time commitment of a full-size course…
