Dead bat tests positive for rabies in Gwinnett County

ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) — A dead bat found in a Gwinnett County backyard has tested positive for rabies, according to county officials.

The bat was discovered on Oct. 6 at a home near the 700 block of Autumn Meadow Drive in Loganville. The county asks residents to be cautious and avoid animals behaving oddly.
