Cherokee County residents urged to prepare for storm’s local impacts

Cherokee County officials are encouraging residents to be prepared for local impacts this weekend from Hurricane Isaias.

The National Weather Service has issued a high wind warning for Cherokee and other parts of north and west Georgia from midnight Saturday until 8 a.m. Sunday. A flood watch remains in effect for the area for the same time period.
