AMARILLO, Texas (KAMR/KCIT) — Officials with BSA Health System announced that, after targeted workforce adjustments, positions in administrative and support roles were eliminated.
According to BSA officials, around 29 positions were affected, representing around 1% of its local workforce. Officials said that BSA aimed to minimize the impact and added that it has placed some team members into other open roles.
“These are difficult decisions, and we don’t take them lightly. Like health systems across the country, we are facing rising costs, shifting payor dynamics, and a challenging policy environment,” said BSA officials. “These actions reflect deliberate steps to manage costs and ensure our structure keeps pace with current realities.”…
