Amarillo Police’s 106th Academy recruits all pass TCOLE Peace Officer Licensing Exam

AMARILLO, Texas (KAMR/KCIT) — The Amarillo Police Department announced that its recruitment class has achieved a 100% pass rate on the Texas Commission on Law Enforcement (TCOLE) Peace Officer Licensing Exam.

Officials said this accomplishment shows the dedication and hard work of the recruits throughout training. They have completed 936 classroom hours to reach this milestone and will graduate on July 24 with more than 1,250 hours of instruction.

APD said, “We are incredibly proud of each of you and look forward to seeing you serve the Amarillo community. Congratulations on a job well done!”
