AMARILLO, Texas (KAMR/KCIT) — Northwest Texas Healthcare System announced it has appointed a new Chief Executive Officer for its Behavioral Health hospital.
Officials said Rene Havel EdD, LPC-S was named as CEO of the NWTHS Behavioral Health hospital.

Officials said Havel brings expertise in counseling, case management, and clinical supervision. Havel served in the United States Marine Corps, is a Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor and holds a Doctor of Education (EdD).
