Evelyn Romero says anyone who knows her knows that she loves popcorn. That love of popcorn caused her to recently purchase the Canyon Popcorn Company.
“Now I love making it instead of eating it,” Romero said after only nine days of running the shop, which she re-opened on July 1.
Romero had been a frequent customer when she went to the store on a Friday to use a gift card before the business closed in June. She visited with the previous owner awhile and then went home and told her husband, Joe Romero, that she wanted to buy the popcorn business…
