AMARILLO, Texas (KAMR/KCIT) — The Historic Amarillo Building is set to unveil the newest Quarter Horse addition to Amarillo’s Hoof Prints, a community-wide public art display, as part of the building’s 100th anniversary celebration.
According to officials, Hoof Prints features dozens of life-size horses sponsored by local businesses and organizations throughout Amarillo as a partnership between the Center City of Amarillo and the American Quarter Horse Association. Officials noted that the horse for the historic Amarillo Building is a custom-designed horse that pays tribute to the Texas Panhandle’s ranching heritage.
