What to Expect at the Barrio Event Center Grand Opening
The Barrio Event Center is officially opening its doors, and instead of doing just a normal ribbon-cutting and grand opening, it is going all out. The event will take place on Saturday, August 1, from 12 pm to 5 pm. The new Barrio Event Center is located at 1529 SE 10th Ave., and this is one party you don’t want to miss.

Best Beef Jerky Competition
Jerky makers get to show off their talent and recipes as they vie for the top honor of best beef jerky.
Attendees will be able to sample both the micheladas and the jerky, then vote for their favorites.
Car Show, Vendors, and Food Trucks
