AMARILLO, Texas (KAMR/KCIT) — The Texas Wounded Warrior Foundation Golf Tournament announced that it teed off its 10th Annual golf tournament on Sunday at the Ross Rogers Golf Complex.
According to officials over the last 10 years of the tournament the foundation has raised over $1.5 million for Texas Veterans and their families. With the earnings it helps warriors transisiton back into daily life and it helps pay for some basic cost of living such as medicatoin and bills.
TWWF said it fills the gap for wounded warriors and their families when the VA resources don’t come in time or are lacking in other areas…
