AMARILLO, Texas (KFDA) – The Texas Panhandle War Memorial was filled with family, friends, fellow veterans and community members on Saturday as they gathered to celebrate a major milestone for former prisoner of war Dan McKinney.
McKinney turned 100 years old on July 25 and was honored for both his birthday and his military service.
