WT’s graduate nursing program awarded $400K for emergency, trauma care training

AUSTIN, Texas (KFDA) – West Texas A&M University is one of several graduate medical programs to receive grant funds for emergency and trauma care training.

Gov. Greg Abbott announced Tuesday that 24 grants totaling $5.8 million will go toward trauma care training and to expand the state’s healthcare workforce.
