AMARILLO, Texas (KFDA) – A man accused of selling $1.2 million worth of meth in Amarillo has been indicted on federal drug charges.
United States Attorney for the Northern District of Texas Ryan Raybould announced a federal grand jury indicted 51-year-old Mason Allan McCarty on July 23 for the following charges:
- possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine
- felon in possession of a firearm
- possession of a firearm in furtherance of a drug trafficking crime
According to the criminal complaint in this case, Amarillo police served a search warrant at Traveler Motel in Amarillo on June 30, where McCarty was detained.
