Hannah Hamil has had a dream of teaching in the Canyon Independent School District since she was a senior at Canyon High School in 2021. That dream came true Aug. 19, when she started teaching fifth-grade mathematics at Canyon Intermediate School.
“I was very grateful to get to be in Canyon ISD because they have such a great, outstanding reputation in our community,” Hamil said.
