AMARILLO, Texas (KFDA) – An active weather event is expected late tonight into early Monday morning, bringing the potential for strong to severe thunderstorms.
Abundant moisture and strong vertical wind shear will be in place as an upper-level disturbance approaches our area, creating favorable conditions for thunderstorm development later tonight.
Our main concerns with these storms will be the potential for large hail, damaging winds, and tornadoes.
