Officers with the Amarillo Police Department’s homicide unit are at the scene of a fatal shooting Wednesday afternoon in Amarillo, a 6:24 p.m. community message said.
“Amarillo Police Homicide is working a shooting in the 2200 block of SW 7th. One male is deceased. The suspect is unknown. We will provide further when we have more information,” the APD community update states.
