AMARILLO, Texas (KAMR/KCIT) – From Tascosa to Southwestern Oklahoma State University, Taryn Galt has made a mark on the game of volleyball. When she hung up the kneepads following her senior year at SWOSU, the plan was to continue pursuing a career in the medical field. Little did she know, life would bring her back to the court and to Weatherford.
At 24 years old, Taryn was named Weatherford High School’s new head volleyball coach. With the help of her college coach Josh Collins, the Tascosa community, Coach Galt [her dad], and the rest of her family, Taryn has all the right tools and support needed to make this team her own.
