That is why when we can get out and support a local business that not only provides a fun service but then tries to make it even more fun, we can’t help but applaud. Tascosa Drive-In is officially open for the season, and they are trying to make the drive-in even more fun.
More Than Movies: Swap Meets and Events at Tascosa
I mean, they already find two good movies for us to enjoy every night they are open. They host other events out on their property, such as swap meets. They even let us get involved in helping pick out the movies when they can.
They found a way to make it even more fun. They want you to get out of your cars and participate in a treasure hunt. Every night that they are open, they are hiding a hundred-dollar bill somewhere; it’s the Tascosa Treasure Hunt.
Cumulative Prizes: What Happens if the Cash Isn’t Found?
You find it, and it’s yours. If it is not found, they will then add another hundred dollars to the hunt for the next night. How fun is this? The pot could keep growing until a lucky winner spots the cash. Oh, and who couldn’t use the money in this economy?…
