AMARILLO, Texas (KAMR/KCIT) — For over a decade, the Detten family has been connected with Children’s Miracle Network as they raise two kids with Wolf-Hirschhorn Syndrome.
“John is 14, and when he was born, he had Wolf-Hirschhorn Syndrome, it’s a genetic disorder, and it includes, for him, a lot of congenital heart defects, kidney issues, seizures, but mostly the heart defects,” said Stacy Detten, John and Emma’s mom.
