AMARILLO, Texas (KFDA) – The state has responded to more than 30 motions filed by Tad Cullum, one of five people charged in the 2024 murders of Veronica Butler and Jilian Kelley, before his death penalty trial begins.
Two years after the murders of Butler and Kelley, the defendant and the state continue to file motions and prepare for the death penalty trial of Cullum and Cole Twombly.
