AMARILLO, Texas (KAMR/KCIT) — An Amarillo man agreed to plead guilty in a federal drug case in Amarillo federal court. Nathaniel Xavier Oliveras agreed to plead guilty to count one of a superseding indictment. That indictment charged Olivares with Possession with Intent to Distribute Methamphetamines.
Olivarez was originally indicted in February for Conspiracy to Distribute or Possess with Intent to Distribute 50 Grams or More of Methamphetamine, Possession with Intent to Distribute 50 Grams or more of Methamphetamine, Convicted Felon in Possession of a Firearm, and Possession of a Firearm in Furtherance of a Drug Trafficking Crime. Those charges were dismissed as part of the plea agreement. The superseding indictment was filed today in federal court.

According to the Factual Resume filed in the case, Olivares admitted to selling meth starting back in December. Law Enforcement also say that Olivares sold to confidential sources twice in the month of January.
Documents show that during a search of Olivarez’ home officers found multiple packages on Methamphetamine, fentanyl, and weapons and ammo. Documents alas said Olivarez admitted the drugs and guns were his and that he was selling the drugs.
He will be re-arraigned and sentenced at later dates…
