Beloved Bakery Closing Popular Location After Two Decades

It is the end of the line for one of the remaining French’s Pastry Bakery locations in California. The company’s Orange storefront is closing this weekend after two-plus decades in business.

French’s Bakery announced the pending closure of its Orange outpost, located at 2064 N Tustin St in the Orange Villa Shopping Center, earlier this week. The establishment, which originally opened in 2005, will serve its final treats this Friday, June 26.

A heartfelt goodbye

The official French’s Bakery Instagram account shared the news about its Orange store being shut down.

“Good morning, Orange County…We are sorry to post this..But unfortunately, we have to close the Orange location,” the message read. “We appreciate all the love from our loyal customers…We are still keeping French’s in Costa Mesa open-Located on Baker.(Baker and Fairview )…We do hope and pray you will visit us down there. Again, thank you for all the years and memories we made in the Orange 🍊 location.”…
