A walk along the shoreline turned into an unexpected discovery last week when a San Clemente resident found what authorities now believe are human remains near Linda Lane Beach.
On the afternoon of June 17, Katherine Kinnison was walking along the sand when she spotted what appeared to be teeth protruding from a section of jawbone. The unusual find was discovered near Linda Lane Beach and immediately caught her attention.
Kinnison notified a nearby lifeguard, who then contacted the Orange County Sheriff’s Department. Deputies responded and collected the remains for further investigation…
