The Win~Dow, an L.A.-born smashburger mini-chain, is lining up its first Orange County outpost in Old Towne Orange, according to recent filings. Plans point to a walk-up counter with outdoor seating, a garden, and an on-site bar, all packed into a compact corner of historic Orange.
As reported in coverage of the first Orange County outpost, the operator has zeroed in on 237 W. Chapman Ave as the proposed address and has listed both a bar and an outdoor garden among the key features. The California Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control’s public filings also show an application under “WIN ORANGE LLC” for a Type 47 on-sale general eating-place license in Orange County, a step toward serving full bar drinks on site. There is no official opening date listed yet.

Menu and delivery listings show single cheeseburgers typically landing in the roughly $4 to $5 range, a price point that has been a big part of the brand’s draw.

Local directories show the site previously housed automotive and muffler services, as indicated in past business listings for the property. The compact footprint and walk-up setup would echo how the brand has planted other neighborhood locations in pedestrian-friendly pockets, a pattern noted by local coverage of recent openings…
