The Cypress School District Board of Trustees is pleased to announce the appointment of Dr. Grant Litfin as the district’s next Superintendent, according to a press release issued by the district.
Ann Silavs, the district’s long-time Supt. resigned suddenly during the recent discussions over the district’s sagging finances. Former Asst. Supt. for Business Services, Tim McLellan had been appointed acting Supt. to fill the void.
Dr. Litfin brings more than two decades of distinguished educational experience and a proven record of strengthening school communities, advancing student achievement, fostering innovation, and building collaborative partnerships.
