A 27-year-old Orange County man was arrested after a wild celebration of Mexico’s 3-0 World Cup win over Czechia on Wednesday.
Investigators with the Santa Ana Police Department became aware of what appeared to be a street takeover tied to the celebration after footage circulated on social media.
Police said they used the footage to identify the vehicle and obtained an arrest warrant for Westminster resident David Martin, who they allege was behind the wheel that night.
Martin’s Infiniti was also seized and impounded.
