There are plenty of ways to celebrate the Fourth of July, but treating Southern California freeways like your own personal MotoGP circuit probably shouldn’t be one of them. It’s also a great way to discover that helicopters and airplanes are a lot more patient than flashing lights in your rearview mirror.
According to the California Highway Patrol, one motorcyclist went as fast as 130 mph while tearing through traffic on Interstate 5 in Orange County. The rider was caught on camera splitting lanes, flying past other vehicles, and even using the center median as a passing lane.
