Authorities Identify Knife-Wielding Man Fatally Shot By Cerritos Restaurant Patron

A 30-year-old man suspected of brandishing a knife and running into a Cerritos restaurant, where he was fatally shot by a customer with a concealed carry permit, was identified Thursday.

The man with a knife entered Lucille’s Smokehouse Bar-B-Que in the 11300 block of South Street about 2:10 p.m. Sunday and ran through the kitchen and service areas frightening customers and staff, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.
