Dodgers games are now available to former Cox Communications customers on the team’s sports channel, SportsNet LA. The channel returned Thursday following Charter Communications’ $34.5 billion acquisition of Cox Communications.
Why it matters: For several years, Cox Communications refused to carry SportsNet LA because of licensing fees. With the acquisition, customers in Orange County, Palos Verdes, San Diego and others will move into the Spectrum network and get the channel.
