A police officer in Costa Mesa, California, was questioning a woman inside a stolen car last week when a man came running from a nearby store with employees chasing him.
The officer had gone to the 2300 block of Harbor Boulevard after the vehicle’s owner tracked it there. Police say the man was carrying stolen merchandise.
