One of the most popular events of the year is the international street fair at Old Towne Orange. Held on Sept. 4-6 from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m, the streets of Old Towne were roaring with crowds of hungry people while musicians played their ethnic tunes. Aiza Sheikh (12), shares that “[she] was excited to see [her] country’s flag on display and so many food options to choose from.” With more than a dozen countries represented, vendors sold foods like Swiss hotdogs, Italian canolis, corn on the cob, crepes, Greek gyros, tacos, fried potato sticks, and much more.
