Orange County Pride is bringing its annual festival and parade back to downtown Santa Ana on Oct. 10, and it’s shaping up to be its largest festival yet.
More on the move: Back in 2024, organizers moved the OC Pride festivities to the OC Fair & Events Center in Costa Mesa because of costs and safety concerns. Bryan Terry, executive director at OC Pride, told LAist that the organization received overwhelming feedback recommending that the festival return to Santa Ana.
“They really wanted Pride to be out in the streets. They wanted it to be free. They wanted it to be visible,” Terry said. “It just became very apparent we had to bring it back to Santa Ana.”
What to expect: The festival includes food vendors, a beer garden, live performances and a marketplace, as well as plenty of community partnerships…
