The family of an 18-year-old California State University, Fullerton student, who died on Sept. 13 after attending an event at an unaffiliated fraternity, is asking for help paying for funeral expenses and to educate students about the possible dangers of “fake” fraternities.
The student, Anthony Joseph Blas, was pronounced dead after he was dropped off at the St. Jude Medical Center emergency room at around 12:07 a.m. His death was likely related to alcohol consumption, according to the Fullerton Police Department.
“Anthony was such a fun, loving, and unforgettable person,” the GoFundMe page reads. “He brought laughter and happiness wherever he went, and he was deeply loved by his family, friends, and everyone who knew him.”…
