A semi truck plowed into a wall on the 91 Freeway Tuesday morning, triggering an hourslong closure of multiple lanes through Long Beach.
The crash was reported shortly after 10 a.m. on the eastbound side of the freeway just west of the 710 Freeway interchange.
Video of the incident posted on the Citizen.com website showed the jackknifed semi with significant front-end damage. A large portion of the wall running parallel to the freeway was also missing after it was struck by the truck. Fluid from the truck also spilled onto the roadway.
